  • Tuesday 2nd October: Our first meeting of the year will be a show debate, so you can see what debating is all about. The motion being debated will be “This house would outlaw the Church of Scientology”Time and location to be confirmed soon — remember to get there early , the lecture theatre fills up fast.

After the debate will be an opportunity for you to meet lots of new friends. Our famous social will start at the Brynamlwg Club, which is usually restricted to staff and postgraduates, followed by a trip to town where we will make merriment until the small hours.
